Q. What is the cost of the mission?
A. $3,599 per adult, double occupancy
$1,500 single supplement
$2,999 per child ages 5-12, sharing a room with 2 adults
Limited number of junior suites available for families of 4.


Q. What does the cost of the mission include?
A. 5-star hotel accommodations
All breakfasts, most lunches and dinners
Deluxe, air-conditioned bus with Wi-Fi
Government-trained and -certified tour guides
All program activities and entrance fees

Q. What is not included in the cost of the mission?
A. Air travel to and from Israel. Please make your own flight arrangements to be in Israel in time to start the mission at 5 p.m. on June 11.
Any personal extras, including: souvenirs, room service, gifts, personal items, etc.

Q. Is there a minimum gift required to participate on the mission?
A. There is no minimum gift required to participate.

Q. How do I register for the mission?
A. You can register by the link below. If you are unable to complete the online application, contact Ronit Chia at 561.242.6630 or, and we’ll send you an application.


Q. Will you be able to accommodate special dietary needs?
A. Yes. When you register, please indicate that you have special dietary requests. (vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, etc.). All food included in the mission will be strictly kosher, in compliance with local municipal rabbinates.

Q. Is my deposit refundable?
A. The $500 deposit per person is required when you submit your application. Your deposit is fully refundable before February 25, 2018.

Q. What is the cancellation policy?
A. The trip is subject to the following cancellation charges if you cancel for any reason. If your notice is received by:
February 25, 2018, you get a full refund.
March 25, 2018, you get a full refund – minus your deposit,
 After March 25, 2018, you will not be refunded.

Q. What if I want to stay in a different hotel?
A. The price of the mission includes group rates at the five-star hotels we selected. This ensures that all participants can stay together and get the best possible prices and accommodations. Staying at different hotels becomes logistically challenging and could negatively impact the group bonding experience. We do not recommend you stay at a different hotel.

Q. I will be traveling on my own. Is it possible to find someone for me to share a hotel room?
A. Yes. We will try to find same gender roommates, please contact Ronit Chia with your request.

Q. Is the trip tax-deductible?
A. No.

Q. Do I need to purchase travel insurance?
A. Travel insurance is strongly recommended. To purchase travel insurance, please contact your personal travel agent.

Q. I want to go to Israel early/stay late. What are my travel options?
A. To discuss personal travel logistics, please contact Kenes Tours directly.

Q. Can I switch tracks throughout the mission?
A. When you register, you will choose one track and remain with that track throughout the mission. All tracks include experiences and aspects of each of the other tracks. All tracks come together as a group several times in joint activities, as well as every evening and morning.

Q. Will I see people on the mission who are not on my bus or track?
A. Yes! All mission participants will be together:
At breakfast together every morning
At the Opening Gala ceremony and dinner;
For Shabbat in Jerusalem;
In Federation’s partnership region (TZAHAR);
 At our closing farewell dinner.

Q. Is there a minimum age for kids?
A. For the Explore Israel Family Track option, the minimum age is 5. For all other tracks, the minimum age is 13.

Q. Are kids welcome on the trip?
A. The Explore Israel Family track is most appropriate for families with kids. Activities will be catered to children, and a youth counselor will accompany the group. There is also an Explore Israel Adults-only track.
