Over the past few months, our new Shinshinim – young Israeli emissaries who have not yet started their duty in the IDF, have lived in our community. They live here for one year, during which they bring the history and culture of Israel to the Palm Beaches. They were just familiarizing themselves with their new surroundings when the war in Israel began. This event is an opportunity for you to welcome, comfort and learn from these young people whose families and friends are coping with the war.

Drawing on his latest work, Dr. Morinis will explore the unique gifts of a Shabbat practice.
