In addition to our Women’s Philanthropy and Jewish Women’s Foundation, Career Connections (a program of Alpert Jewish Family Service and Federation) is proudly partnering with Jewish Women International (JWI) to empower women and girls to realize their full potential. Together we are providing a series of virtual workshops for survivors of domestic violence to embark on a journey of empowerment and self-discovery.
Wednesday, March 20 at 12 p.m.
This is the first workshop of a four-part series designed for survivors of domestic violence who are ready to reclaim their identities and chart their own paths to empowerment. In this interactive session, you will engage in a series of activities aimed at uncovering your authentic self, envisioning your desired future, and setting actionable goals to make your aspirations a reality. You will leave with a personalized roadmap for success which will pave the way for a future filled with possibility and purpose.
Wednesday, March 27 at 12 p.m.
This is the second workshop of a four-part series designed for survivors of domestic violence who are ready to take the next step in reclaiming their power by joining the workforce. This session will help you navigate your career path by learning how to leverage transferable skills and address gaps in work history. You will also explore options such as advancing in your current career tracks, starting anew, pursuing side gigs, or developing a slash career. Facilitators will offer valuable insight into how to capitalize on strengths, overcome challenges, and maximize opportunities in today’s ever-evolving job market.
