Director Lieberman (THE AMAZING NINA SIMONE) delves into a career without precedent that began on the streets of Manhattan and trail-blazed the way for female leaders of the future including Kamala Harris and Nancy Pelosi. Abzug’s colorful story comes to life through newly unearthed home movies\, audio diaries\, and news footage\, and features interviews with Hilary Clinton\, Barbra Streisand\, Gloria Steinem\, Shirley MacLaine\, and many more. Winner of the Library of Congress Lavine/Ken Burns Prize for Film\, and a Writers Guild of America 2024 Nominee. \n\n\n\n\n\n\nDirector Jeff L. Lieberman will be present for audience discussion.
