Treating everyone with respect, particularly our elders, is a building block of Jewish life. To celebrate our local seniors and the Jewish value of Kibud Zekayni – honor senior citizens – families are invited to join Kohl JVC, PJ Library® and the residents of Wellington Bay Retirement Community to explore their green thumb with a Succulent Plant Party. Children, alongside the seniors, will create their very own arrangements – one to take home and one to give to a friend. In partnership with PJ Library®, we will also hear nature-inspired stories. Space is limited.

This opportunity is suitable for ages 4 and older; children must be accompanied by an adult.

Every volunteer will receive a Good Deeds Day t-shirt.
