A Virtual Tour of Israel for Educators

Take a new approach to making Israel education come alive.

Whether you are teaching in-person or distance teaching this year, join together with other educators for a series of virtual explorations of Israel’s natural wonders and political landmarks aimed to enrich your lessons. Our guides, who are past and present Palm Beach shlichim (Israel emissaries), will take you on personalized tours through the Jewish homeland and answer your questions along the journey.

Join these three incredible sessions:
Sunday, October 25: 1-2 p.m.
Wednesday, October 28: 7-8 p.m.
Friday, October 30: 4-5 p.m.

Our virtual tour itinerary:

Northern Galilee
Led by Shani and Nir Boneh (Palm Beach Shlichim 2013-2015)
Featuring a tour of the beautiful Northern Galilee and an exploration of Israeli life through TV commercials, followed by a live Q&A session.

Peres Center for Peace and Innovation
Led by Hedva (Palm Beach Shlicha 2006-2008) & Rafi Montias

Showcasing the diverse industries and people who are driving Israeli innovation and promoting a better future of prosperity and peace. The session will wrap up with a virtual stop at the famous Dr. Shakshuka restaurant in Jaffa.

Antipatros Fort in the Yarkon National Park, Tel Afek
Led by Bar Sananes (Palm Beach Shlicha 2015-2018)

Exploring the fort and taking a lively look at its history and that of the surrounding area.

Jerusalem: the Kotel, Shuk and Arab Quarter Shuk
Led by Yaara Levy (Palm Beach Shlicha 2018-present)

Featuring a special Shabbat at the Kotel where Yaara will place your messages into The Western Wall.
