The Lions’ Pride Event
Tuesday, January 12 at 10 a.m.

This celebration welcomes women who give at the Lion of Judah level to any Jewish Federation in North America in 2021, or have established a Lion of Judah Endowment in the Palm Beaches. Filmmaker Lacey Schwartz (Little White Lie) will share the powerful story of her unusual upbringing and unique racial identity.

Shared Legacies
Thursday, January 14 at 7:30 p.m.

This collaborative program between the Jewish Community Relations Council and the Mandel JCC features a panel discussion about the film Shared Legacies with the film’s director, Shari Rogers. The film focuses on the often forgotten story of the relationship between the Jewish and African-American communities during the Civil Rights Movement. This event is offered in our community to honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King.

Commemorate International Holocaust Remembrance Day with Humans of the Holocaust photo exhibition, highlighting inspiring stories of how the human spirit overcame the ultimate darkness of the Shoah. Ben-Gurion Society Virtual Insider Briefing
Wednesday, February 3 at 1 p.m.
Members of Federation’s Ben-Gurion Society are invited to an exclusive, virtual kickoff event featuring an insightful conversation with thought leader and Deputy Consul General of Israel in Miami, Kasa Bainesay-Harbor. Mrs. Bainesay-Harbor’s escape from Ethiopia’s civil war led to her overcoming adversity and achieving political prominence. She will discuss the recent Israel normalization of relations and peace deals, as well as how your generosity to Federation is empowering Ethiopian Jews to live and thrive in Israel.
The Ben-Gurion Society is a national recognition society comprised of adults ages 25-45 who contribute $1,000 or more to Jewish Federation.
