As our community grapples with the effects of the coronavirus, contributions to Federation’s J-Help Coronavirus Emergency Response are empowering Federation and our partner agencies to swiftly and effectively address the unprecedented needs of our local and global community:

  • Surge in unemployment and financial insecurity
  • Limited access to food, medicine and basic services
  • Dangerous increase in isolation and emotional distress
  • School closures and reduced access to education

Your gift will provide:

  • Interest-free loans and emergency cash assistance
  • Expanded meal delivery program to homebound seniors
  • Restocking the community’s Kosher Food Pantry shelves
  • Specialized telehealth services and virtual support groups
  • Educational virtual programs and online content

A committee of lay leaders will distribute funds donated to the J-Help Coronavirus Emergency Response Campaign to specific programs of Federation’s partner agencies, such as: Alpert Jewish Family Service (JFS); Friedman Commission for Jewish Education (CJE); Kramer Senior Services, a subsidiary of MorseLife Health System; Mandel Jewish Community Center (JCC); Meyer Jewish Preparatory School; American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee (JDC); and The Jewish Agency for Israel.
