With a minimum gift of $120,000, you can perpetuate your gift and create a Lion of Judah Endowment Fund in your name. Isabel was proud to become a Lion of Judah in Palm Beach County, demonstrating her commitment to our community through Federation\u2019s annual giving program for women. She was already a Lion with Jewish Federation of Greater MetroWest New Jersey, so she decided it just made sense.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: ITCAvantGardeStd-Bk;\">But Isabel said perhaps her most important philanthropic decision was to endow her new Lion gift so she could be sure it would continue to have an impact after her lifetime. \u201cEndowment is critical for [community support that lasts in] perpetuity,\u201d she explained. \u201cIf I give now, the money is invested and will have an impact on Judaism and the traditions I care about in years to come.\u201d She also chose to endow her Lion of Judah gift because she believes it\u2019s critical that women have a voice in Jewish life. Endowments are a way that \u201cwomen who are passionate about what they do, and share that passion with others, can influence the [future] of the Jewish community,\u201d she said.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: ITCAvantGardeStd-Bk;\">In addition to her Lion of Judah Endowment, Isabel also created a Donor Advised Fund (DAF) that acts as a philanthropic account.
