Of all the challenges faced by Jewish community in Palm Beach County, none is more urgent than ensuring the safety and security of community members. The current environment has made it impossible for these measures to protect us from an ever-rising tide of antisemitism, which generates fear and can lead to violent attacks.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Click here for resources available to the community to report and stand up to acts of hatred.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n According to recently published reports on Florida by the FBI and ADL:<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n The Palm Beach Center significantly impacts and influences both the Jewish and general Palm Beach communities by taking a proactive stance against antisemitism. \nJewish Federation of Palm Beach County\u2019s Palm Beach Center to Combat Antisemitism & Hatred expands our leadership role to address acts of hatred against the Jewish community.<\/span><\/p>\n
\nWe work to strengthen communal safety and security by increasing our capacity to meet the safety needs of our community. We work tirelessly with law enforcement, the Community Security Service, Secure Community Network, and our local J-Secure Community Security Program so Jews can live openly and securely.<\/span>
\n<\/div>
\nFighting back against hate of Jews is not the Jewish community\u2019s responsibility alone. Knowing Jews is a vital step to combating hate against Jews. To scale our effort, we also seek to foster strategic relationships with influential, respected leaders who will stand up and publicly speak out about antisemitism.<\/span>
