Will you step forward to help people in the Bahamas whose lives have been devastated by Hurricane Dorian?<\/strong><\/span><\/h1>\n

You’ve seen the heartbreaking news reports: Several lives have been lost or are missing. Thousands more are without homes. Nearly everyone is struggling to access even the most basic needs.<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

During times of disaster, our community joins together to care for the vulnerable. This is a reflection of one of our core Jewish values,\u00a0tikkun olam<\/em> (repair the world). Jewish Federation of Palm Beach County is teaming up with a network of partners to support those in need in the Bahamas and help them recover from this devastating storm.<\/span><\/p>\n

We are grateful that our local community has been spared the most devastating effects of Hurricane Dorian.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

Thank you to the hundreds of community members who donated urgently needed goods for people in need in the Bahamas through Jewish Volunteer Center’s Hurricane Dorian Supply Drive.<\/span><\/h2>\n
