Two leaders from Jewish Federation of Palm Beach County \u2013 Jeff Trynz, Senior Vice President of External Affairs, and <\/strong><\/span>Melissa Arden, Vice President, Community Strategy and Planning<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>\u2013 have been accepted into the 2022-23 Leadership Engage Program<\/span>, <\/strong>Leadership Palm Beach County\u2019s flagship program. <\/span><\/p>\n Leadership Engage, presented by iTHINK Financial, is a highly selective 10-month program which unites community leaders and offers participants a transformative learning experience and a powerful network of peers, with the intent to better Palm Beach County.<\/span><\/p>\n Participants, who come from diverse industries and backgrounds, gain a deeper understanding of their own leadership styles as well as understand the ways in which they can make significant improvements throughout the community.<\/span><\/p>\n Jeff Trynz<\/strong> serves on Federation\u2019s senior leadership team, widely considered the \u201ccity hall\u201d for the Jewish community in the Palm Beaches, where he oversees a broad range of strategic initiatives that drive revenue growth, raise the nonprofit\u2019s brand awareness, and engages its key stakeholders. Trynz first joined Federation as its Vice President of Marketing and Communications, and over the years has continued to expand his role, which now includes leading a team that focuses on meaningful donor experiences through public relations, events and fundraising. He also manages Federation\u2019s network of strategic partnerships and alliances including Corporate Sponsorship, Palm Beach Israel Business Alliance, and a portfolio of major donor relationships.<\/span><\/p>\n Melissa Arden<\/strong> also serves on the senior leadership team at Federation where she focuses on the strategy, implementation and effectiveness of key community priorities and programs, which includes serving as the central liaison for Jewish organizations, programs, and initiatives in Palm Beach County and around the globe. Arden also oversees Federation\u2019s scholarship programs and financial incentives, as well as its Career and Community Resources, Jewish Disabilities Network and Federation\u2019s Partnership Program in Israel.<\/span><\/p>\n The 56 members of Leadership Engage were selected for their leadership and service in their professional and civic lives. They will meet each month from September through May to explore program topics such as education, public safety, healthcare and agriculture. Class members will also divide into smaller groups and work on their chosen \u201cEngage Forward\u201d projects, the Leadership Palm Beach County civic engagement initiative benefiting local non-profits and aimed at tackling challenges facing the region.<\/span><\/p>\n The mission of LPBC is to educate and unite leaders to build a better community, and the 56 new class members look forward to furthering this mission.
