Join us for a global day of doing good \u2013 Sunday, April 14<\/span><\/h1>\n

Let\u2019s unite with millions of volunteers from 108 countries around the world in doing good on Good Deeds Day. This international day of service started in Israel in 2007. People of all ages can engage in mitzvot<\/em> (good deeds), and help our planet and the people who need our support the most in the Palm Beaches, in Israel and all around the world.

Honor the Jewish value of G\u2019milut Chasadim<\/em> \u2013 acts of loving kindness<\/strong> \u2013 as you glean produce from a local farm in partnership with Cros Ministries. Produce will be donated to the Palm Beach County Food Bank for community members and food pantries to help combat food insecurity.<\/p>\n

This opportunity is suitable for ages 5 and older; children must be accompanied by an adult.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Join this high-energy, assembly-line-style event to help pack 60,000 healthy meals for local families in need. This program honors the Jewish value of Ha\u2019achalat Re\u2019evim<\/em> \u2013 feeding the hungry<\/strong>, and is organized through the Palm Beach County Food Bank and Alpert Jewish Family Service\u2019s Food Pantry.<\/p>\n

This opportunity is suitable for ages 5 and older; children must be accompanied by an adult.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Celebrate our local seniors and the Jewish value of Kibud Zekaynim<\/em> \u2013 honor senior citizens<\/strong> \u2013 as you join with the residents of MorseLife to explore your green thumb with a Succulent Plant Party. Children and residents will work together to create arrangements \u2013 one for your family to take home and one for your new friend at MorseLife. In partnership with PJ Library\u00ae, we will also hear a nature-inspired story.<\/p>\n

This opportunity is suitable for ages 4 and older; children must be accompanied by an adult.<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

At-Home Project: Passover Cards<\/span>
\nEncourage your children to join you in the Jewish value of Bikkur Holim<\/em> – visiting the sick<\/strong> – by sharing homemade Passover cards with seniors. Click here<\/a> to download the instructions and PJ Library\u00ae coloring pages that you can print at home. After coloring, mail your art to the Kohl Jewish Volunteer Center at Jewish Federation (address included in instructions) and we\u2019ll deliver your cards to our partners at MorseLife and Kind Kitchen for them to distribute during meal deliveries.<\/span><\/p>\n
