We are beyond proud to announce that Jewish Federation of Palm Beach County has been named Nonprofit of the Year by the Palm Beach North Chamber of Commerce. At the 2024 Annual Leadership Awards, Federation stood among our community’s most impactful leaders and organizations to receive one of Palm Beach North\u2019s highest honors.<\/p>\n

The prestigious award is a testament to our community\u2019s generous support and involvement, as well as the tireless efforts of our exceptional leaders, volunteers and professionals. Over the past year, we have embraced our role as Jewish Palm Beach\u2019s “City Hall,” with significant strides in our mission to serve and uplift our community:<\/p>\n

\u2022 Critical Relief Efforts in Israel:<\/strong>\u00a0In times of global crises, our community has consistently stepped up, raising $10 million for Israel after the October 7 attacks and $2 million for Ukrainian relief efforts, particularly aiding the 200,000 Jews affected by Russia\u2019s invasion. Through the\u00a0Stacey & Mark Levy Center for Israel & Overseas<\/a>, Jewish Palm Beach has demonstrated unwavering support for people in need worldwide.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Combating Antisemitism: <\/strong>Federation\u2019s Palm Beach Center to Combat Antisemitism & Hatred<\/a>\u00a0has become a vital community resource, fostering dialogue and understanding through initiatives like the\u00a0Community Leaders Study Tour of Israel<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0successfully advocating for a proclamation<\/a> recognizing Jewish American Heritage Month in Palm Beach County.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Engagement in Jewish Life:<\/strong>\u00a0More people than ever are connecting with Jewish life in the Palm Beaches. Expansions within our\u00a0Friedman Commission for Jewish Education<\/a>,\u00a0Dorothy & Sidney Kohl Jewish Volunteer Center<\/a>\u00a0and our partnerships with organizations such as OneTable have created new opportunities to reach community members of all ages and enrich Jewish life.<\/a><\/p>\n
