Ari Goldman is a distinguished journalist and journalism educator who has trained hundreds of young people to be better reporters and writers. He enjoyed a long career at The New York Times, where he covered a variety of beats including politics, crime, education, transportation and religion.<\/p>\n
Goldman carried those lessons with him to a second career as a professor at Columbia University\u2019s prestigious Graduate School of Journalism, where he heads the Scripps Howard Program in Religion, Journalism and the Spiritual Life.
