Jewish Federation of Palm Beach County has introduced the Palm Beach Movement to Activate Jewish Life, a bold plan to shape the future of Jewish life. Part of Federation’s Campaign for the Future—the largest fundraising effort in Federation’s history—the Movement addresses the extraordinary growth of Palm Beach County’s Jewish community, one of the largest and fastest-growing in the U.S.
This Movement is about standing united with pride, strength, and visibility, expanding meaningful Jewish experiences, and creating welcoming spaces to ignite Jewish life with every action and connection.
The Palm Beach Movement will transform Jewish life across the Palm Beaches with bold programs to inspire and connect the community. Community Connectors will tailor opportunities within neighborhoods and groups, seamlessly integrating Jewish values into meaningful experiences all ages. Expanded initiatives will empower teens to build strong Jewish identities, engage adults with diverse educational and cultural opportunities and offer volunteer programs that embody Jewish values through service projects.

A first step in this bold vision are plans for The Exter Center, a proposed state-of-the-art, multi-use facility designed to offer much needed space to foster connection, strengthen community, and inspire Jewish pride on the Mandel JCC and Meyer Jewish Prep campus in Palm Beach Gardens. Named in honor of Diane and Neil Exter, the center will include cutting-edge spaces for arts, culture, athletics and events.
