New Holocaust Exhibit Spotlights “Stories of Rescue”

A new Holocaust exhibit opened September 3 at the Richard and Pat Johnson Palm Beach County History Museum in downtown West Palm Beach, thanks in part to support from Jewish Federation of Palm Beach County and the Palm Beach Center to Combat Antisemitism & Hatred.

Stories of Rescue, based on material from the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, highlights ministers, housewives, soldiers, and other ordinary individuals who chose to intervene and save Jews during World War II, risking their own lives through heroic acts.

The exhibit is on display indefinitely as part of the museum’s designation as a Holocaust education site by the School District of Palm Beach County.
