Morselife’s Homebound Mitzvah Program

Are you a caring volunteer who would like to bring the joy and tradition of the High Holidays to frail, homebound seniors in Palm Beach County?

Join us for MorseLife’s Homebound Mitzvah Program. With the support of volunteers, this program reaches out in the hopes of diminishing the loneliness felt over Jewish holidays such as Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur.

Register to make phone calls, compile meal kits or make deliveries for this vital program. These special boxes contain a traditional kosher meal, wine and a prayer book so homebound seniors, many of whom are among our community’s 12,000 Holocaust survivors, can still enjoy the beauty of the High Holidays from home.

To become a volunteer or volunteer delivery driver, please complete the form below, hit “submit” and then choose your shift(s) on the next page.

The Homebound Mitzvah Program is an initiative of MorseLife Health System and is supported by the Jewish Volunteer Center, a program of Jewish Federation of Palm Beach County.
