Local Jewish Partner Organizations

The following partner organizations are separate 501(c)(3) nonprofits collaborating with Federation on planning, operations, facilities and security.


Ferd & Gladys Alpert Jewish Family Service (JFS)
Providing the needed social services to individuals and families in our community such as mental health support, programs and support for people with disabilities, Holocaust survivor assistance, and varying emotional support groups. JFS operates the Melvin J. & Claire Levine Jewish Residential & Family Service, which provides residence, care and community for people who may be developmentally disabled, significantly learning disabled, and/or chronically mentally ill.

Mandel Jewish Community Center of the Palm Beaches (JCC)
Connecting families to Jewish life through preschool, camp, cultural arts, wellness and enrichment programs. Locations in Boynton Beach and Palm Beach Gardens.

Arthur I. Meyer Jewish Preparatory School
Part of the David Posnack Jewish Day School network, Meyer Prep empowers the next generation through an internationally recognized Jewish day school education. For more than 40 years, Meyer Prep has served as our community’s premier Jewish day school for Junior K-8th grade.

MorseLife HomeCare’s Lola & Saul Kramer Senior Services 
Caring for our community’s vulnerable seniors and Holocaust survivors and providing the ability to at home with comfort and dignity. Services include meal deliveries, home healthcare, emergency response and case management.

Career and Community Resources
A program of Jewish Federation of Palm Beach County and Alpert Jewish Family Service.  Free employment-related support services and resources to job seekers of all faiths and backgrounds living in the Palm Beaches and Treasure Coast.
Community Events and Engagement Opportunities
Experiences that bring young adults, families, professionals and active adults together, as well as programs to welcome newcomers to the Palm Beaches and help them find their path in the Jewish community.

Lorraine & Jack N. Friedman Commission for Jewish Education (CJE)
Creating and supporting meaningful Jewish learning experiences in the Palm Beaches through resources, funding and engagement of educators, families, adults and students with differing abilities through a variety of focus areas.

J-Secure Community Safety and Security Program
Providing JCCs, synagogues, Jewish schools, summer camps and other centers of Jewish life with access to grant funding, training and other initiatives that strengthen security and link them with law enforcement resources. J-Secure partners with the Secure Community Network (SCN), the official safety and security organization of the Jewish community in North America, and LiveSecure, which reinforces increased security needs by matching new and increased gifts to Federation.

Jewish Community Relations Council (JCRC) 
Building relationships with legislators and leaders of other faith-based and community organizations to promote support for Israel, combat antisemitism and foster an understanding of issues within and beyond the Jewish community.

Jewish Disabilities Network (JDN)
Collaborating with Jewish agencies, organizations and synagogues to create an inclusive and embracing Jewish community for people with differing abilities of all ages and their families. This work is supported through our partnership with Matan, who assesses community needs and inspired our strategic plan to create a more inclusive community for people with differing abilities.

Jewish Women’s Foundation
Through grantmaking, JWF responds to the most pressingneeds of women and girls locally, nationally and in Israel.

Kohl Jewish Volunteer Center
Creating a network of people and opportunities for our community to take part in meaningful social-action projects that improve lives in the Jewish and broader communities. The center’s Anne & Sam Klein Literacy Program provides reading support for at-risk students through volunteer reading coaches at public schools in the Palm Beaches.

Levy Center for Israel & Overseas
Providing vital support for Jewish communities around the world, as well as programs and experiences that expand our thinking and strengthen our relationships with global Jewish peoplehood.

Mandel Center for Leadership Development
Leadership development programs that support planning, expanding and retaining professional and volunteer Jewish community leaders, and fostering healthy organizational cultures.

William A. Meyer Jewish Community Foundation (Meyer JCF)
Securing the Jewish future by managing a diverse portfolio of philanthropists’ endowments, donor-advised funds and other legacy giving vehicles, as well as distributing funds to organizations in the Jewish and broader communities. Meyer JCF is a partner of Life & Legacy®, which provides training, support and incentives for Jewish organizations to secure after-lifetime commitments.

Missions
Giving community members opportunities to connect with our global Jewish community through domestic and international travel experiences. with opportunities to witness firsthand Federation’s impact on people and communities around the world.

mosaic Public Affairs TV Show and Podcast
Exploring timely issues that affect the local and global Jewish community through a TV news magazine-style series broadcast on our local ABC affiliate, social media and podcast platforms.

OneWorld: Davis Family Tolerance Project
Fostering tolerance, diversity and inclusion by providing funding for inspiring community programs.


The Palm Beach Center to Combat Antisemitism & Hatred
expands and amplifies Federation’s longstanding role addressing antisemitism by combining legislative muscle and community security initiatives with leadership and outreach programs

Scholarships for Summer Camp & Israel Travel Experiences
Need-based scholarships for children and young adults to attend Jewish summer camp and travel to Israel to develop deeper connections to their Jewish identity and the larger Jewish community.

Supported Jewish Organizations with Local Programs
We provide support for several 501(c)(3) organizations who provide programs in the Palm Beaches. These organizations operate their programs independently from Federation.

 


BBYO
National Jewish teen movement aspiring to involve more Jewish teens in fun, meaningful and affordable experiences that inspire a lasting connection to the Jewish people.

Hillel International
Creating lasting Jewish connections with college students, inspiring and training them to become leaders and build their own communities at hundreds of colleges and universities. Our funding supports 28 college campuses across Florida, including the University of Florida, Florida State University, University of Miami, University of Central Florida, as well as campuses associated with Hillel of Broward and Palm Beach, which includes Florida Atlantic University and Palm Beach State College.


inSIGHT Through Education
Providing Palm Beach County Schools with the resources to educate its students about the Holocaust and other genocides through grants and programming for teachers and students.


J-Screen
Building healthy Jewish communities by providing screening, education and at-home testing for Jewish genetic diseases.

Jewish Educational Loan Fund (JELF)
Helping Jewish students earn their degrees through interest-free loans for their higher education, which includes undergrad, graduate, vocational or technical school.

KAVOD SHEF
Recognizing that many Holocaust survivors struggle to afford food, medicine and rent, the Palm Beaches are one of a select group of communities in the U.S. where KAVOD SHEF has a presence. This national philanthropic initiative matches new gifts to Federation to strengthen services for survivors.

The Kind Kitchen of Palm Beach
Feeding people in need through preparation and delivery of homemade, kosher meals throughout the Palm Beaches.

March of the Living
Annual educational program bringing students from around the world to Poland, where they explore the remnants of the Holocaust.

OneTable
Through OneTable’s new Palm Beach chapter, young adults connect with Jewish life and each other in a social context through home-based Shabbat dinners.

StandWithUs
Nonpartisan Israel education organization that inspires and educates people of all ages and backgrounds, challenges misinformation and fights antisemitism. StandWithUs energizes and informs students with leadership training and educational programs on college campuses, high schools and middle schools.

 

 

Israel & Overseas Jewish Partner Organizations
Federation supports organizations that provide services in Israel and Jewish communities around the world.


American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee (JDC)
Caring for Jewish communities around the world through rescue, relief and renewal in 70 countries. In Israel, JDC addresses complex social service challenges. JDC provides aid to vulnerable Jews, rescues Jews who are in danger, leads response to global crises, cultivates a Jewish future and creates opportunities for all Israelis.

Ethiopian National Project (ENP)’s SPACE Program
ENP’s SPACE program (Scholastic Performance and Community Empowerment) provides Ethiopian-Israeli children with professional teachers who help to strengthen students’ academic achievements, including preparatory classes for matriculation exams.

The International Center for Tzfat Kabbalah
Located within Federation’s partnership region of TZAHAR in Israel, the Tzfat Kabbalah has become a major draw for tourism in the TZAHAR region, attracting close to 30,000 visitors each year, including many from the Palm Beaches.

The Jewish Agency for Israel
Providing the global framework for Aliyah (immigrations to Israel), ensuring global Jewish safety, strengthening Jewish identity, connecting Jews to Israel and one another, and conveying the voice of the Jewish people to the State of Israel to help shape its society. In addition to our primary support of The Jewish Agency, we provide funding for special programs, such as:

Birthright Israel
Birthright Israel seeks to build the future of the Jewish people by strengthening Jewish identity, Jewish communities and connection with Israel via a free 10-day trip to Israel for Jewish young adults.

Jewish Federations of North America (JFNA)
Representing 146 independent Federations, JFNA connects us with global resources and programs who extend the reach of our work, including Israel Action Network, which builds a strong base of support for Israel and counters delegitimization.

Partnership2Gether
The Palm Beaches’ sister-city relationship with Israel’s TZAHAR region (comprised of the cities Tzfat, Hatzor HaGlilit and Rosh Pina). Our partnership strives to build a shared and thriving Jewish future, based on strong Jewish identity, peoplehood, culture and tradition, through the creation of meaningful and enduring personal relationships, while widening the circles of leadership and involvement across the communities.

Partnership with Budapest Jewish Community
Strengthening Jewish life where it was once nearly wiped out, the Palm Beaches’ partnership with the Jewish community of Budapest, Hungary supports the city’s Jewish community center, leadership development programs, human services and more.

United Hatzalah
Saving lives in Israel through fast and free emergency medical first response throughout the country, providing patients with medical aid until an ambulance arrives. United Hatzalah’s service is available to all people regardless of race, religion or national origin.
