Cards for Israel

Your children have the power to make a difference by honoring the Jewish value of G’milut Chasadim – acts of loving kindness – as they create beautiful cards filled with love, hope and kindness to children, seniors and soldiers in Israel who are navigating these challenging times. Your words and artwork will show our support and let them know they are not alone. Craft your heartfelt message, draw a picture, or design a digital card, then send to Federation’s Kohl Jewish Volunteer Center (Kohl JVC) and PJ Library® will coordinate sending the cards to families in Israel

Treating everyone with respect, particularly our elders, is a building block of Jewish life. To celebrate our local seniors and the Jewish value of Kibud Zekayni – honor senior citizens – families are invited to join PJ Library® and the residents of Elancé Senior Living to explore their green thumb with a Succulent Plant Party. Children, alongside the seniors, will create their very own arrangements – one to take home and one to give to a friend. In partnership with PJ Library®, we will also hear nature-inspired stories. Space is limited.
