FEDERATION ENGAGING JEWISH BABY BOOMERS WITH B3/THE PALM BEACH JEWISH BOOMER PLATFORM

Palm Beach Bommers

The U.S. population of Baby Boomers – born between 1946 and 1964 – stands at nearly 77 million and is the largest age cohort of the country’s Jewish community.

Jewish Boomers’ significant career skills, experience, and desire to make a difference provide the ability to powerfully contribute to the world around them.

Therefore, Federation is embarking on a groundbreaking new project in the Palm Beaches in collaboration with partner agencies, synagogues and other community institutions to create new ways for Boomers to connect to Jewish life.

The Innovation Fund – Federation’s high-impact grants program – is providing seed funding for B3/The Palm Beach Jewish Boomer Platform. Through B3, Federation will assess the needs, interests and desires of our community’s Jewish Baby Boomers – all in an effort to provide new, meaningful opportunities to actively engage and connect to the Jewish community.

Federation is leading the effort in collaboration with Alpert Jewish Family & Children’s Service, MorseLife Health System, Mandel JCC, Friedman Commission for Jewish Education (CJE), Federation’s Synagogue Institute and community synagogues.
