Administrative Assistant, CJE
The Administrative Assistant will coordinate his/her efforts with other members of the staff to provide administrative support for the programs of the Commission for Jewish Education (CJE), a department of the Jewish Federation of Palm Beach County. The mission of the CJE is to enrich and strengthen Jewish life and education throughout the greater Palm Beaches.
The Administrative Assistant will have close interaction with most departments within the Federation as well as with high profile donors, vendors, and other key contacts. Therefore, excellent customer service and attention to detail is essential. The Administrative Assistant will work closely with all members of the Programming and Engagement Team and will report directly to the VP, Jewish Education.
Development Officer, Major Gifts
Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Development the Development Officer, Major Gifts focuses on identifying new prospects, cultivating meaningful relationships, and securing capacity gifts from donors capable of making a minimum yearly commitment of $25,000. The Development Officer, Major Gifts is expected to develop and implement a Major Gifts campaign plan that moves management strategy and addresses: events, assignments, lay solicitor oversight, step-up strategies, and tracking to create an increased Major Gifts annual campaign as well as supplemental giving opportunities for Major Donors. This includes all recognition levels such as the King David Society, Leadership Circle, Levy Founders Society, etc.
The Development Officer, Major Gifts will work closely with all development staff as well as key volunteer solicitors to promote the acquisition of major and planned gifts to Jewish Federation’s strategic funding priorities.
Director, Missions
The Director, Missions is responsible for planning and implementing of missions to Israel and other destinations worldwide. The Director, Missions oversees logistics and works in conjunction with lead and senior professionals, lay leadership, as well as professionals from Jewish Federations of North America (JFNA), air agents, and tour companies.
Director, Palm Beach Center to Combat Antisemitism & Hatred Executive Director, Community Affairs
The Jewish Federation of Palm Beach County is seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Director to lead the newly created Palm Beach Center to Combat Antisemitism and Hatred. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to combat antisemitism and other forms of hate in the community. Event Planner
The Event Planner is responsible for coordinating the logistics of fundraising and engagement events, whether in-person or virtual or hybrid, to support the mission, vision, and core values of Federation.
Manager, Accounting
The Accounting Manager is a critical member of the Finance and Accounting Team,, responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely accounting of all financial transactions in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). This position will additionally support on the budgeting process. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of non-profit accounting and be able to work in multiple systems.
Manager, Donor Information Services
The Manager, Donor Information Services (DIS) is responsible for supervision and oversight of the Donor Information Services (DIS) Department, including the accounts receivable/donations to the organization, and all associated tasks related to the management of data in Blackbaud CRM (SAND). In addition, the Manager functions as a business partner to the Financial Resource Development, Finance, and Information Technology Departments in support of the mission, vision, and core values of the organization.
Stewardship Officer
The Stewardship Officer maintains connections and strengthens relationships with major donors, foundations, and corporate sponsors. The Stewardship Officer plans, develops, coordinates and deploys unique and meaningful experiences, primarily through targeted communications, that reinforce the value and impact of Federation giving. This position’s activities contribute toward additional gift increases and improved donor retention rates.
Systems Analyst
The Systems Analyst acts as a liaison to staff of the Federation and their contracted agencies to ensure that all systems and applications function as intended.
Yad Creative Arts Educator
According to the Centers for Disease Control, one in six children between the ages of 3 and 17 (or about 15%) have one or more developmental disabilities. Because of the growing rate of students needing accommodations and adjustments in their learning environments, the CJE is looking for an experienced educator to teach, enhance, support, and enrich the school experience of special needs students using various creative arts (music, movement, art, drama) in the J.N. Somers Yad Hebrew School for Students with Differing Abilities.
