Maor is the Consul General of Israel in Miami who assumed the position in June 2021. A career diplomat since 2006, he is tasked with building partnerships and coalitions for Israel in Florida, Kansas, Missouri and Puerto Rico. His focus is on strengthening relations in the areas of politics, innovation, technology, trade, business, tourism, media, and culture, as well as promoting interfaith cooperation and combating antisemitism and racism.
