READING TOGETHER: ONE-ON-ONE READING PARTNER PROGRAM

A powerful opportunity to cultivate a local child’s love of learning, creativity and reading.

The Jewish Volunteer Center’s dynamic literacy initiative, Reading Together: One-on-One Reading Partner Program, is seeking volunteers for at least one hour weekly to read with local elementary school children, enhance their reading strategies and instill confidence to empower their love of learning.

Reading buddies will volunteer at their preferred partner school each week throughout the school year, working with the teacher to create an individualized reading plan for each student.

In partnership with Anne & Sam Klein Literacy Program, Reading Together is being offered at six partner schools:

Crosspointe Elementary, Boynton Beach
Indian Pines Elementary, Lake Worth
Jupiter Elementary, Jupiter

Lake Park Elementary, Lake Park
Panther Run Elementary, Wellington
Roosevelt Elementary, West Palm Beach
