Giving & Volunteering Opportunities

Volunteering Project

Would you like to ensure that those in need, especially our community’s homebound seniors, are able to celebrate Rosh Hashanah?

This year, our Dorothy & Sidney Kohl Jewish Volunteer Center has expanded our reach to touch more lives. We’ve partnered with both MorseLife, as well as a joint effort with The Kind Kitchen Palm Beach and Alpert Jewish Family Service (JFS), to safely deliver homemade meals for Rosh Hashanah and help community members celebrate a sweet new year.

Contributions

Record-setting housing prices, coupled with inflation, mean that people who were already barely getting by are struggling more than ever to afford basic necessities. Requests for food nearly tripled last year, from young families and homebound seniors, making it difficult to keep the shelves stocked at our community’s food pantries. Your contribution fuels the work of Jewish Federation and our partner organizations to care for the many struggling families, frail seniors and others who face overwhelming challenges. If you or someone you know is struggling, please contact our partner Alpert Jewish Family Service at 561.684.1991.
