Yaniv Cohen, “The Spice Detective,” shares his culinary journey from Israel to Miami. Growing up in a Sephardic Jewish family, with North African and Middle Eastern roots, food was and still is a passion, a way of life.
“Let thy food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food.”
Yaniv published his “The Spice Detective” blog—which, became a cookbook—opened his beloved Israeli restaurant, Jaffa, in Miami and won the Netflix cooking competition, “Best Leftovers Ever!” He will explore how spices can influence our culinary lives and provide health benefits.
