New Holocaust Elective Course Coming to Palm Beach State College

Thanks to two Palm Beach Center Community Influencers, students in the Palm Beach County School District, the nation’s 10th-largest, will soon be able to take a Holocaust Education elective course at Palm Beach State College.

The dual enrollment class was created through relationships developed during the first Community Leaders Israel Study Tour in February between Palm Beach State College President Ava Parker and Kimberly Coombs, the school Program Planner of Holocaust and Jewish History.

The new class is one of the latest initiatives from alumni of the Palm Beach Center’s Community Leaders Israel Study Tours. Non-Jewish tour participants return to Palm Beach County ready to implement plans to stand up for their Jewish neighbors and actively fight against antisemitism and hatred.
