The Palm Beach Center to Combat Antisemitism & Hatred, a pioneering new entity at the Jewish Federation of Palm Beach County, is committed to finding practical solutions to antisemitism confronting Palm Beach County. The Palm Beach Center targets critical priorities, brings together diverse stakeholders with the authority and resources to act, and offers strategic, monetary, and advisory support to grantees and partner organizations. The Palm Beach Center’s initial efforts focus on two proven priorities: strengthening community security and building relationships.

According to recently published reports on Florida by the FBI and ADL:

Palm Beach County has the most antisemitic incidents of all Florida counties.

Florida is ranked fourth highest for antisemitic incidents in the United States.

Antisemitic hate crimes accounted for 80% of the religiously motivated crimes in Florida.

Building on the longstanding leadership of Federation’s Jewish Community Relations Council and the J-Secure community security program, the Palm Beach Center, launched in May 2023, leverages and unifies Federation’s strengths. It serves as the Jewish community’s convener, enabling direct collaboration with partners – nonprofit organizations, government entities, businesses, and communities, alongside Federation programs and Jewish partner organizations – to develop and execute strategies that directly confront local antisemitism and hatred.

The Palm Beach Center is made possible due to the foresight and generosity of donors committed to the following objectives:

Inspiring and Supporting
sustainable and practical solutions that address the escalating local hatred toward the Jewish community.

Accelerating Progress
by focusing on substantial improvements with immediate- and long-term impact.

Collaborating with Partner Organizations
and programs already working in this area while encouraging new partners to join the cause.

Ensuring Initiatives
born from the Palm Beach Center positively impact the world by sharing them with other Jewish communities.

By doing this, the Palm Beach Center is working towards creating a safer, more tolerant future for all.
