Honor the Jewish value of Ha’achalat Re’evim – feeding the hungry – by helping to ensure that local families have a hearty, healthy, and festive Thanksgiving. This initiative is in partnership with J-Teen at the Mandel JCCs Friendsgiving efforts and Meyer Preparatory students. Non-perishable items can be dropped off at the Mandel JCCs from November 1-November 16 during the regular operating hours. Frozen turkeys and non-perishables can be donated at the Mandel JCCs on November 16 from 8:30-10:30 a.m. Please register with your location preference for donations on Nov. 16 of frozen turkeys and non-perishable food.
Requested items include frozen turkey, gravy, bags of stuffing, canned cranberries and vegetables, soups, boxed muffin or biscuit mix and non-perishable desserts and pie crust fillings.
Donations support Alpert Jewish Family Service, Family Promise of North/Central Palm Beach County, The Soup Kitchen of Boynton Beach and The Salvation Army.
