Motivated by a desire to trace his father’s path, Pastor Chris Edmonds embarks on a journey to uncover the harsh realities faced by captured Jewish American G.I.s. His quest extends to locating and connecting with the men whose lives his father saved. Roddie Edmonds, sadly, never fully grasped the immense impact of his courageous act before his passing. Unbeknownst to him, he would later be recognized as the only American soldier honored by Yad Vashem as a Righteous Among the Nations.

This powerful program includes a short film that provides visual testimony through from those who bore witness to Roddie’s bravery and a candid conversation with Chris.
