Jewish Federation invites you to join us on an exclusive trip to Krakow, Poland. We will visit Auschwitz-Birkenau, a solemn and impactful experience allowing us to reflect on the magnitude of the Holocaust and remember the victims.
We will also take a walking tour of Kazimierz, the former Jewish Quarter, immersing ourselves in the rich Jewish history and culture that once thrived in this neighborhood, including Oskar Schindler’s factory. At the Krakow JCC, we will meet with director Jonathan Ornstein and gain insight into the present-day Jewish community, its vibrant activities, and JCC’s role with refugees after the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine.
In addition to taking this journey steeped in our Jewish history, you will be provided with luxurious accommodations, exceptional activities and delectable meals, ensuring a memorable and comfortable experience. The program will begin in the afternoon on Friday, October 13. Beginning with dinner on Friday, all meals will be included through breakfast on Monday.
