Hebrew Free Loan Fund

We are dedicated to helping those who need our support. Federation offers people in financial need with Hebrew Free Loans. Financial assistance is available for both general needs (e.g. rent/mortgage, car payment, etc.) and for needs related to Jewish life, such as synagogue membership, participation in a Jewish program, bar/bat mitzvah, brit milah, etc.

The Family Reimbursement Education Fund

The Family Reimbursement Education Fund helps Jewish families by repaying the cost of goods and services related to educational needs, which cannot be obtained through other sources. There are limited funds available each year. Applications will be reviewed by a sub-committee on a first come, first serve basis. Families may receive one reimbursement of up to $500 annually. This is not a scholarship fund. Educational program and activities include the following:

  • Academic Support, Paraprofessional, and Tutoring
  • Educational Programs and Supplies
  • Evaluation and Assessment
  • Camping and Summer Programs/After School Activities
  • Experiences/Membership/Recreation
  • Therapeutic Support and Equipment
  • Technology
  • Transportation/Travel

Jewish Education Loan Fund

Jewish students living in the Palm Beaches can turn to Jewish Education Loan Fund for help accessing interest-free, need-based loans to supplement their financial resources, and give them the opportunity to attend full-time accredited post-secondary educational programs.

These are need-based loans to help bridge the gap between a student’s total financial resources and the cost of attending school.

Jewish Overnight Camp – Application opening December 2023

There are few more transformative opportunities for a young person than a summer camp experience. Camp allows kids to learn new interests like water skiing and archery, gain independence and confidence, and create enduring friendships – all while living Jewish values and experiencing the importance of community. Jewish children in Federation’s service area (Boynton Beach north through Vero Beach) are eligible to receive financial need-based scholarships to attend approved Jewish overnight summer camps across the country. Please check the Foundation for Jewish Camp’s approved list of programs to see if your camp is eligible for a scholarship.

Israel Experience Programs

Bring your Jewish identity to life with a trip to Israel! Our Israel experiences allow you to live history and learn in-depth about the land, culture and people of Israel. We offer a wide range of enriching travel experiences for different ages and interests, giving you the opportunity to make new friends, connect to the Jewish homeland and visit historic and holy sites.

March of the Living

This annual educational travel experience brings students from around the world to Poland and Israel, representing the continued existence of our Jewish culture and history.

JCC Maccabi Games and Artsfest

Be a part of one of the largest Olympic-style sporting and arts competitions in the country. A powerful and transforming experience for Jewish teens (13-17), the JCC Maccabi Games and Artsfest connects thousands of teenagers from all over the world to enrich their Jewish identity through an array of sports, arts and community service.
