Will you step forward to help people in the Bahamas whose lives have been devastated by Hurricane Dorian?

You’ve seen the heartbreaking news reports: Several lives have been lost or are missing. Thousands more are without homes. Nearly everyone is struggling to access even the most basic needs.

During times of disaster, our community joins together to care for the vulnerable. This is a reflection of one of our core Jewish values, tikkun olam (repair the world). Jewish Federation of Palm Beach County is teaming up with a network of partners to support those in need in the Bahamas and help them recover from this devastating storm.

We are grateful that our local community has been spared the most devastating effects of Hurricane Dorian, and we are monitoring the storm’s track in order to assess its impact on other communities.

Help to restore and rebuild by contributing to Federation’s Hurricane Dorian Relief Fund.

100% of your contribution to Federation’s Hurricane Dorian Relief Fund will address critical needs in the Bahamas:

  • Emergency efforts for those stranded or in danger
  • Urgently needed basics, including shelter, food and medicine
  • Long-term rebuilding and cleanup needs

Donations to the fund will be distributed to our partner agencies working on the ground to address emergency and long-term recovery needs of hurricane victims.

Donate by mail: Make your check payable to Jewish Federation of Palm Beach County, and please note on your check “Hurricane Dorian”.
