In 2018, Jewish Federation of Palm Beach County’s JCRC led a strategic re-envisioning process to become one of the most outstanding Jewish community relations entities in North America. Today, JCRC is at the forefront of addressing the most critical issues facing the Jewish community – locally, nationally and globally.

JCRC’s mission is to ensure a vibrant Jewish future by convening, educating and mobilizing the Jewish community to:

• Promote a secure Jewish and democratic State of Israel;
• Combat antisemitism, discrimination and bigotry;
• Foster understanding within and beyond the Jewish community;
• Champion a just and pluralistic society.

Josephine Gon is the Vice President of JCRC.

As JCRC’s top professional, Josephine is leading efforts to address local and national policy issues affecting the Jewish community. She has 16 years’ experience in the Jewish Federation system, most recently as Federation’s Director of Israel and Global Initiatives where she was responsible for leading the strategy for engagement in global initiatives, connecting our local community with Israel, and working closely with overseas partners to address causes affecting our global Jewish family. “I am passionate about Israel and of the importance of advocating for matters of concern to the Jewish community, not only as it relates to Israel but also locally, as citizens of Palm Beach County,” said Jo.
