PJ Library, PJ Our Way

Give the gift of Jewish learning to children in your life.

Through Jewish Federation of Palm Beach County, the Friedman Commission for Jewish Education provides free PJ Library® or PJ Our Way™ books to children who are 6 months old to 11 years old. Children receive these free, high-quality Jewish books at their homes each month when their parents or guardians enroll them in the program by going to pjlibrary.org or pjourway.org

Since 2008, more than 100,000 PJ Library books, music and other Jewish activities have been delivered in the Palm Beaches to children who are between 6 months old and 8 years old. Tweens who are 8½ through 11 years old can sign up for the next chapter of PJ Library, PJ Our Way, which allows them to choose their own chapter books or graphic novels each month.

PJ Library and PJ Our Way were created by the Harold Grinspoon Foundation,to inspire parents to begin Jewish experiences and learning opportunities for their children. Both programs also encourage parents to spend quality time together with their children exploring our rich Jewish heritage.

Locally, the program is made possible through generous support from the Jewish Federation of Palm Beach County, Friedman CJE, the Harold Grinspoon Foundation, and donors Dorothy Adler, Sheila Engelstein & Alec Engelstein (z”l), Sol Freedman (z”l), Marilyn & Michael Winer and other local donors.
