The Palm Beaches’ sister-city relationship with Israel’s TZAHAR region (comprised of the cities Tzfat, Hatzor HaGlilit and Rosh Pina) creates meaningful and enduring personal relationships, while widening the circles of leadership and involvement across our communities.
The Israel Program Center, offers enriching local experiences that foster meaningful connections with Israel’s vibrant culture, diverse people, and rich history. Through your support, Federation addresses vital causes in Israel and 70 countries around the world. During times of calm, conflict and crisis, we achieve far-reaching impact through a network of global Jewish partner organizations.
Strengthening Jewish life where it was once nearly wiped out, the Palm Beaches’ budding partnership with the Jewish community of Budapest, Hungary supports the city’s Jewish community center, leadership development programs, human services and more.
Every two years, a young adult from Israel immerses themselves in the Palm Beaches to provide a unique and powerful people-to-people connection with the Jewish state. Our Shlichim spend time every day with people around the Palm Beaches to provide thoughtful Jewish engagement. The Shlichim program is an initiative of our global partner organization, The Jewish Agency for Israel.
Strengthening our local community’s people-to-people connection with Israel, ShinShinim are young Israeli adults who temporarily live in the Palm Beaches and provide experiences, discussions and activism opportunities relating to Israel. Their work focuses on younger generations, with programs at schools, camps and synagogues. The ShinShinim program is an initiative of The Jewish Agency for Israel. Click here to meet out ShinShinim.
